Common Man Restaurant Claremont   

Right across our courtyard and marked by a covered path from our Inn doors is our Common Man restaurant, offering riverside dining on the banks of the Sugar River.

Our Common Man restaurant in Claremont serves the same great American fare with flair as our flagship location in Ashland, opened by Alex Ray in 1971. Our comfort food selections include our famous Prime rib, homemade baked macaroni and cheese, and our famous crab cakes, voted Best of NH seven years in a row by readers of New Hampshire Magazine! Enjoy lunch or dinner in our main dining room, or in our lounge area. Take a seat on one of our cozy lounge chairs or couches and relax before dinner with a beverage and parlor games we've put out for your enjoyment. In warmer months, guests can dine on our brick patio overlooking the rushing falls of the river.

Serving lunch Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. with lighter fare from our grill menu served from 3 - 11 p.m.  Dinner served from 5- 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 - 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Sunday serving brunch specials and our full menu.  Our lounge is open from 4 - 11 p.m. nightly with a lighter grill menu served from 9 - 11 p.m. 

Don't feel like venturing out of your room? Order room service from the Common Man restaurant, our menu is in your room binder. Room service is available from 5 - 9 p.m.

We're also available to host your next business dinner, board meeting, family get together or other special event.
